PERFORMANCE FEATURES:
- Higher strength, rigidity and impact resistance compared to normal PE wall piping
- 65% – 75% lighter than Schedule 80 steel pipe.
- Mild flexibility afforded by the cross-woven steel wires provides increased ease of installation over steel pipe.
- Ability to increase temperature application conditions due to low heat conductivity. There is no requirement for heat protection of the outer wall in summer and no moisture condensation in winter
- Smooth inner wall, reducing 30% water head loss compared with steel pipe
- Light weight and convenient for both transportation and construction, it offers high overall reliability. Under normal conditions, it has a service life of up to 50 years
- The anti-static and flame retardant material is evenly distributed in the pipe body. The performance parameters of flame resistance and static electricity resistance are not affected by long working times.
- The inner wall of the pipe is smooth, therefore the resistance is small when conveying fluid. Under the same conditions, the conveying capacity can be increased by 30% offering good flexibility and strong resistance to geological sedimentation
- No scaling and is especially suitable for use underground to convey water, water with calcium ion or magnesium ion etc, which can largely reduce the costs of corrosion resistance and scale removal
- The underground steel wire reinforced thermoplastic (PE) composite pipe for mining has good anti-aging performance and is not easily embrittled at low temperatures. It has good resistance against rapid cracking and has a high toughness rating, allowing it to effectively absorb impact.
- Pipes are connected by way of Victaulic, flanged or electrofusion jointing, offering easy and secure connections, strong performance of axial tensile and various pipe fitting specification
